How do HugeSale559 auctions work?
We run two types of auctions — live in-store preview bidding on Saturday during our weekly sale, and timed online auctions open all week. Both use the same account, same bidding system, and same checkout.
When can I preview items before bidding?
In-person preview is available every Saturday during our sale hours (9:00 AM – 2:00 PM) at 5877 E. Brown Ave, Fresno, CA 93727. You can inspect any lot in person before placing a bid. Online photos and descriptions are also posted for each lot ahead of time on this site.
How do timed online auctions work?
Timed auction lots are listed online throughout the week and close on a set schedule. You can browse all open lots, place bids, and track your activity from your My Account page at any time. You do not need to be present in person to bid online — just create a free account and start bidding.
When do lots close?
All lots close at 11:00 AM on Saturday — two hours after our doors open at 9:00 AM. Closing later gives you a last-minute chance to preview items in person on sale day and still place or raise a bid before the lot ends. Exact closing times are listed on each lot page. Keep an eye on your Watchlist and My Bids so you don’t miss the final minutes.
When do I pick up items I won?
Pickup is on the same Saturday that lots close — lots close at 11:00 AM, and pickup runs from 11:00 AM – 2:00 PM at our Fresno warehouse. Please bring your order confirmation and a valid ID. If you are unable to pick up that Saturday, contact us in advance — unclaimed items may be forfeited without refund.
Do I need an account to bid?
Yes. A free account is required to place bids. Your auction account is the same as your HugeSale559 store account — one login covers everything. Register or sign in here.
Is there a buyer’s premium?
Yes. A buyer’s premium is charged on every auction lot — currently 15% — and it is added to the winning bid at checkout. The rate may change in future sales to reflect item costs and related fees carried on the company’s behalf; the rate in effect is shown when you register to bid and on every lot. This is standard for auction sales and covers processing and administration. The total due (winning bid + premium) is shown clearly before you confirm payment.
How do I pay for auction wins?
When you win a lot, you will receive an email notification. You can complete payment through your My Account page. We accept all major credit cards and debit cards. Payment must be completed before pickup.
What if an item is not as described?
All items are sold in as-is condition. We make every effort to accurately describe condition and note any known defects. We encourage in-person preview on Saturdays before bidding. All sales are final — please review our Terms & Conditions for the full policy.
Can I return a winning bid?
All auction sales are final. We do not accept returns on auction lots. Please preview items in person on Saturdays and review photos carefully before bidding.
